Robert D. Warrington is a Founding Partner of Dawkins & Warrington and a seasoned attorney with extensive experience in estate planning, estate administration, and real estate law. Over the course of a distinguished career that spans decades, Robert has become a trusted advisor to individuals, families, financial institutions, and businesses alike—providing practical, strategic legal counsel that safeguards wealth and supports lifelong planning.

Robert’s practice focuses on guiding clients through the complexities of wills, trusts, tax planning, and fiduciary management. He also brings significant expertise in real estate transactions and small bank lending, delivering clear, results-driven counsel in both personal and commercial property matters. His clients rely on his ability to simplify intricate legal and financial challenges with wisdom and precision.

Highly regarded for his work with seniors and individuals with disabilities, Robert supports clients and their families in navigating issues such as asset preservation, eligibility for means-tested public benefits, and long-term care planning. His ability to balance compassionate advocacy with sophisticated estate and tax strategy makes him uniquely effective in this critical area of practice.

Before co-founding D&W, Robert served as Director of Legal and Financial Affairs for a $45 million telecommunications startup in the Atlanta metro area. In addition to earning his J.D. from Rutgers Law School–Newark, Robert holds an M.B.A. from Columbia University, a B.A. from Lincoln University, and certification as a professional leadership development coach. In 2025, he was honored in Martindale-Hubbell Who’s Who for his contributions to the legal profession and broader community.

A longtime advocate for equity and economic empowerment, Robert maintains leadership roles with the NAACP and the African American Chamber of Commerce of New Jersey, advising on policy, programming, and community engagement.
